My grandmother is still in the hospital, they have found a spot on her kidney which the believe the blood is originating from. We are now waiting on the next step from the doctors.

Things are complicated

I have been a very bad blogger and I apologize. After I contracted the flu, I had technical difficulties and purchased a new lap top! Aside from all that I have had some personal things going on which I have not yet posted on the blog.

My grandmother has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks, she has blood in her urine and is really weak the doctors do not know what is wrong and are trying to transfer her to a different hospital. I am extremely close to my grandmother she is also the wife to my grandfather that passed away in September. I am not mentally prepared for her to pass away. I am in the process of trying to find a grief counselor to help me deal with the passing of not only my grandfather in September but my little cousin Aly that passed away in July. I still randomly cry when I even think about her. It is just all so terrible and it all on my mom's side of the family. I have not posted this sooner because I do not want this to be a pity party blog. Another reason I turned comments off on this post. I don't want you to feel sorry for me, I just want to explain what has been going on.

With all that being said I hope you do forgive me for my lack of presence on my blog and in the blogging world with comments and keeping up with everyone. I have big things planned for this blog amazing posts full of great content and giveaways coming up. I promise I will get it together!

Happy Valentine's Day! David & I have fun things planned expect a recap tomorrow. I am kind of wishing I didn't have so many glasses of Pinto Grigo or any of those shots with the birthday girl but I will still have a good time today!

Sometimes I really wish I lived back in New Orleans while all my friends are still celebrating and enjoying Mardi Gras season attending parades all week. I am back to my regular 8 to 5 job with no hint of excitement in the office.
