After brunch we headed North on Congress and spent the rest of the afternoon at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum . It very interesting. My favorite fact I learned, Neiman Marcus was originally started in Dallas. The museum had pieces of the first items sold along with orginal newspaper ads for Neiman. I love shopping what can I say!?!
Sweet Melissa tagged me & I promise I will get to it tomorrow. This will be our last day exploring Austin. David is in sales and has a big contract that will make up a large amount of his quota that is trying to get in before Thursday, so he is going back to work tomorrow. I still have off and I plan to catch up on my blogging & magazine reading to relax before work again on Wednesday.
David & I are now headed back downtown for lunch and to visit a few more spots.

Your mini-vacay sounds like fun! I am seriously wishing I still got Mardi Gras break from school...I have been sooo homesick this weekend thinking about all of my favorite parades.
I lvoe that big star! I had no idea that Neiman Marcus started in Dallas. That's cool!
