Where I run

This was taken at my apartment complex's lake this morning around 7:30 a.m. it is very cool place to run, they even have equipment to stretch and signs explaining what & how to do, very handy for pre & post workout stretches!

It is very hard to not be fit at my apartment in addition to this lake, all residences have free access to an 11,000 square foot fully stocked athletic club complete with group fitness classes, showers, lockers, and complimentary child care. We even get our own id card to sign in with, pretty fancy for an Apartment Gym!

Residents also have free access to the complex's Pools, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Sand Volleyball Courts, Racquetball Courts, Bocce Court and a Dog Park. So there is really no reason for me not to be in shape. Even being at home is not even an excuse when all these things are located within 5 mins walking distance from my apartment. My complex is great I recommend it to anyone moving to Austin, even though we are located in North Austin as opposed to downtown. David & I fell in love with all the amenities and things they do for residents for example: free wine tasting classes, restaurants open house nights who doesn't love free food on March 31st we are having a Carrabba's open house can't wait for that, there is also happy hours by the main pool.
And I plan to take full advantage of everything this place has to offer now that the weather is nice!

After my run I re-hydrated with Zico

For breakfast I had Hodgson Mills Multi Grain Pancake Mix with flaxseed and Soy, I made waffles topped them with warm mushed apples & cinnamon, complete with a Vanilla Ginger Green Tea Chai.

Now I'm off to start my day of relaxation with my Tivo & back issues of Shape & Cosmo, taking the puppies on a walk and hopefully have time to fit in some Yoga while I wait for David to return from Dallas.

Looks like the PERFECT running spot!!

Wow where I run it's all congested with traffic and hills galore! (My town used to be a volcano. haha!) Nothing like that.

Perhaps I'll post pics one day. And ohhhh my you made me hungry too now thanks!! ;)

Your waffles looks delicious! Is that mix from Whole Foods? I really need to start eating better now that swimsuit season is here. Your apartment gym sounds amazing!

I think if I had an area like that to run, I would definitely be a runner (maybe not, but I can dream). That breakfast looks divine. Sounds like the perfect day.
