Swamp Thing & Crawfish Festival did not have Abita Strawberry Harvest, but I will be checking Whole Foods & Central Market this week, I am on a mission!
We had a blast though! For food we had boiled crawfish,
crawfish monica, crawfish crab cakes. Cafe Du Monde had a beignet stand but I was beyond full, but now I regret not getting them.
We also had large drinks, they had Hurricanes but I am not a fan so I opted for a strawberry & pina colada mix in mine.
In addition to food and drinks they had carnival rides and bands playing cajun music!
We ate, we drank, we danced...I loved it!
The festival made me really wish I had gone home for Mardi Gras!!

It looks like you had a blast! Your pictures are making me crave crawfish! Tampa has a festival like that but I missed it this year, so I hoping to hit up some crawfish boils when I go home in a few weeks =)
P.S. I saw Abita strawberry AGAIN at Whole Foods yesterday, so if they have it in Florida they must have it in Texas, right?!
There is always next year's MG...French Quarter fest will be missing you just as bad in 2 weeks. I can't believe it's been like 400million months since i've seen you :(

Saddly I too will be working on Good Friday- NASCAR's only holidays are thanksgiving and christmas is feels like :(
