Citizen Cope & A Rooftop Party

Hello Readers! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I sure did!

To start off the SXSW celeberation going on here in Austin, David & I attended a Citizen Cope concert.

The opening act was Gin Wigmore. She was from New Zealand it was her first time playing in America. She had a really soulful voice. I enjoyed her.

And of course Citizen Cope was amazing as usual. I saw him at Austin City Limits this past October. I was really excited to see that he was coming to Austin again so I bought tickets as soon as I found out. Good thing I did the show was Sold Out!

Saturday night there was a party at Lanai, a very cool rooftop lounge, to honor our friends that are getting married next month. The theme was Stock The Bar everyone invited brought a bottle of their favorite beverage to stock the couple's bar :)

This is only a small group shot there was around 30 of us there in our group the groom being honored is not even in this photo.

I had a blast! I knew a few of the girls there but also met some pretty amazing ladies that I really fit in with here in Austin. Hopefully we will all get a chance to hang out again soon!

My old computer had an awesome photo editing program. I'm not happy with my picture quality I have now. I will be purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements soon to get the most out of my pictures. I saw it at Best Buy for only 99.00!

Tonight I headed back to the gym, I previously tore my hamstring running on the treadmil. This is the first time in my life I ever had an injury from working out. It was painful. I totally blame the treadmil!!! I have to take 4-6 weeks off running. So tonight I did the elliptical, light weight lifting and maybe a nice slow cool down walk on the treadmil. I don't think I will ever run on one again.
I am just excited to get back into any type of exercise even if I have to take it slow at first!
