Happy 4 Year Anniversary With David

Today makes my 4 Year Anniversary with David!



We met in college in New Orleans. I don't know if I ever told the story on the blog so I will tell it now.

It was New Years Ever 2006 we met at a club called Ampersand in New Orleans but at the time David had a girlfriend and I was there with a date. He still managed to buy me a drink. I will also note at the time he was coworkers with my roommate so it wasn't scandalous or anything like that with him buying my drink. I was excited to finally meet him my roommate would always talk about her cool coworker David who liked to go out the same place as us and would burn us good techno cds that we would have dance parties to while getting ready to go out.



Once my roommate told me that David broke up with his girlfriend we would call him randomly to go out but it just never happened. Flash forward to 8 months later August 2006 we meet again at this party called Fat Black. Now David was no longer working with my roommate so I didn't hear about him as often and kind of forgot about him but he shows up to the party with a guy that my friend that I went with was dating so we hung out. The next week we went on our first date to Nacho Mama's on Magazine street then out to Puccinos for coffee. After that we went to my apartment which was across the street from all these fabulous places on Magazine street. We watched a movie. I think a few days after that we officially changed the facebook status because in college that makes it oh so serious and have been inseparable ever since :)

After 2 years of dating in New Orleans we moved to Austin together and have been here for the past 2 years and it has been an adventure!



I love you Boo Boo Bear and these past 4 years have been amazing! Thank you for everything! I don't know what life would be like without you!
